Li Yinsang

Li Yinsang 李尹桑 (1882-1945) lived in Fan-yu, Guandong Province and his ancestral home was Wu county, Jiang-shu Province. He was good at calligraphy and imitated inscriptions on the steles of the Qin and Han dynasties. He also showed talent in painting flowers. In seal carving, he liked the style of Huang Shiliang as a model and he was proficient in carving small seal script. He also was good friends with Huang Binhong, I Dai-an, and Deng Erya. At an old age he earned his living by carving seals.
