Li Liufang

Li Liufang 李流芳 (1575-1629) was born in Jiading and was a student of Wen Peng. “He was good at painting landscapes. He learned the styles of Huang Kong-wang and [Wu-chang], and his style of painting was very elegant and delicate. He was also proficient in seal engraving and calligraphy. He could also make poems. Therefore, he was called one of the Four Masters of Jiading, with Tang Shi-sheng, Lou-chien, and Cheng Jia-sui.”
